Glasgow Film Festival celebrates 10th anniversary

The Glasgow Film Festival gets underway from Thursday 20 February and runs until 2 March.

Celebrating its 10th edition, the Glasgow festival opens with the screening of the highly anticipated “The Grand Budapest Hotel”, directed by Wes Anderson, starring Ralph Fiennes and Tilda Swindon.

The festival’s programme, smartly divided into sections such as Best of British, Eurovisions, Great Scots and CineChile, features a diverse and well sourced selection of international films and genres that will satisfy all cinema lovers.

Highlights of this year’s festival are Jalil Lespert’s portrait of fashion designer Yves Saint Laurent in“Yves Saint Laurent”, Morgan Neville’s “20 Feet from Stardom”, Richard Ayoade’s “The Double”starring Jesse Einsenberg. The festival will close with Jonathan Glazer’s “Under the Skin” starring Scarlet Johansson in what has been described as her best performance to date.
